Rude Goldberg
For my Rude Goldberg project I worked with Ruby to create a bread toasting Rude Goldberg. I think my biggest regret of this project was the earlier stages of the project, when we choose our end product. We had a bit of a difficulty choosing it (being the end product). That then pushed the making of the blueprint back, which affected us a lot the the construction stages. Luckily I think we mainly overcame that problem, although it did hold us back. This was the first time I worked on a major project with Ruby, and although we goofed off occasionally I believe we worked very well together, and fed of each other well.
Up until about half way though the construction stages, I think the stress, anger and frustration started to kick in and consistently grew, although there were those few moments when you fix the problem that took you a week to do, or when you think of the most genius idea that fixes your whole project, and you feel like all the stress has been lifted, that was probably my favorite part about this project (but there were many more). I think (most) the stress was relieved when I relived everything doesn’t HAVE to work around presentation day.
Overwhelmed with the stress documentation, and background science, but when the stress decreased (around presentation day) the stress documentation, and background science grew into a priority, and I think (although it was later then it probably should have been) we finished it in time. Overall although it was very stressful I enjoyed the project and it was defiantly worth it.
